Structural plywood is manufactured from softwood veneers. Structural Plywood is a very stable and workable type of plywood which can be used for outdoor structural purposes.

Interior plywood is intended for use in non-structural, interior applications where a high quality aesthetic finish is required.

Non structural plywood available for the forming of curved surfaces in applications such as wall paneling and ceiling lining.

Tongue and groove plywood flooring is strong and durable, with a pre-sanded C-grade face panel available in a range of thicknesses.

Marine plywood is specially treated to resist rotting in a high-moisture environment. Its construction is such that it can be used in environments where it is exposed to moisture for long periods. Each wood veneer will have negligible core gap, limiting the chance of trapping water in the plywood and hence providing a solid and stable glue bond. It uses an exterior Water Boiled Proof (WBP) glue similar to most exterior plywoods. Marine plywood is frequently used in the construction of docks and boats. It is much more expensive than standard plywood. Marine plywood can be graded as being compliant with BS 1088, which is a British Standard for marine plywood. There are few international standards for grading marine plywood and most of the standards are voluntary.  Some plywood is also labeled based on the wood used to manufacture it. Examples of this are Okoume or Meranti

Other types of plywoods include fire-retardant, moisture-resistant, sign-grade and pressure-treated. However, the plywood may be treated with various chemicals to improve the plywood's fire resistancy. Each of these products is designed to fill a need in industry.

Marine plywood is a premium quality plywood made of selected wood species based on density, bending strength, impact resistance and surface finish characteristics.

Curls or "Crotches" grow from the compression of wood fibres in the joint between the trunk and the branch, as a result, creating beautiful patterns.

Curls are often sub categorized as flame, plume, roostertail, feather or burning bush. All of these descriptive terms serve to convey the range of this figure's appearance. In case of Clusters, the veneer has patches of burl figure which are rotary sliced from the log.

Resembling a puddle surface during light rain, this figure is a dense pattern of small rings enveloping one another. Found in extremely large trees like mahagony / sapeli, bubinga, moabi and macore. The quilted effect somewhat like the larger and exaggerated version of a pomello is also found in some species like birch, maple and is three dimensional in appearance.

In this special type of grain figure, the logs are quarter cut to produce very straight grains with cross figure. The figures are of two intensities: Molted: A wavy spiral grain; Sapeli and Bubinga are usually mottled.
Fiddleback: A high density perpendicular figure, running from edge to edge uninterruptedly. Maple, Macore, Angire and Sycamore are the prominent fiddleback-prone species.

This is a special type of grain figure, achieved when the logs are quarter cut to produce very straight grain with cross grain figures. The figures can be of two intensities: Mottled and Fiddleback.
